Cross Training: In his first year wrestling for the Doral Middle School he placed third in the district and was awarded the Most Improved Wrestler. Julio trained in Haganah F.I.G.H.T. originator Mike Lee Kanerek. He holds the rank of yellow belt in Judo under sixth degree Black Belt and national Cuban Judo Champion Jose A. Gomez. He has also trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Bio: Julio is was first certified JR Black Belt and full Black Sash of Anta's Fitness and Self Defense. He was promoted to Junior Black Belt First Level on July 20, 2001 and Black Sash in May 2006 by Hung Gar Grand Master Bill Chung. He was the Kung Fu school's student of the year in 2000. Julio has won numerous Open Karate Tournaments in sparring, forms and weapons. He has appeared on TV, magazines and newspapers. He teaches kung fu at Divine Savior Luthern Academy and at the Chinese School of Doral. He was even featured in the Doral Tribune's Positive People in Doral in the April 2004 issue. Julio is a third generation martial artist. He has been training since he was 4 years old. His grandfather Julio C. Anta boxed in Cuba, His father Julio G. Anta is a Hung Gar Kung Fu Master and his mom teaches Kickboxing. Right out of high school he was hired to go on the Warped Tour as a writer. Julio was an intern at ESPN En Espanol. He writes for Outloud magazine, forthesound.com, and indievisionmusic.com.

Bio: Eddie started training at Anta's Fitness and Self Defense at the age of 4 in 1998. He received his Junior Black Belt First Level on December 18, 2004. He has been a member of numerous demo teams and has appeared on TV and in Newspapers and magazines. In the 2007-08 school year Eddie was awarded Doral Academy Middle School "Athlete of the Year."

Bio: She was Anta’s first female JR Black Belt. She was the 2004 Student of the Year and 2 times student of the month. In 2005 she was awarded the Fighting Spirit Award Trophy for sparring. She received her Junior Black Belt First Level on July 8, 2006. She has been a member of numerous demo teams and has appeared on TV and in Newspapers and magazines. She has won numerous School championships and has also competed in Open Martial Arts tournaments.

Bio: Devon started his kung fu training in 2000 while in 1 st grade. Devon is featured in Anta's Kung Fu level one beginners instructional DVD. He was promoted to Jr. Black Belt 1ST level on July 14, 2007.

Bio: Kareem started his kung fu training in 2002. His younger brother also studies kung fu and is on a journey to Jr. Black Belt.

Bio:Carlos started his kung fu training as a Little Ninja. He was promoted to JR Black Belt on December 8, 2007. He has won the 2004 Bully Buster Award, 2005 School Kicking Champion at Kick-A-Thon, Featured in Channel 7 "Parent to Parents" on Bullying, Channel 51 Telemundo News on bullying, 2006 March student of the month. Carlos is on the Wrestling Team at Ronald Reagan Doral High School. Carlos teaches the 3 sectional staff at Anta's Kung Fu.

Bio: Flor has come out in numerous TV show, newspapers, magazine articles and has modeled for Anta's Kung Fu ads. He was promoted to JR Black Belt on December 8, 2007. Her brother and sister are also Jr. Black Belts. She has also won numerous school championships. She is the second girl promoted to Jr. Black Belt at Anta's. Her sister Orianna was the first.

Bio: Francisco won 3 rd place in the Black Belts for Christ Championships. He was promoted to JR Black Belt on December 8, 2008. He's been student of the month three times and the 2007 School Sparring champion. He has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines. His younger brother is also a kung fu student.

Bio: Carlos has been featured in numerous TV shows, newspapers and magazines. He was promoted to JR Black Belt on December 8, 2007. He's been Student of the Month 3 times. He is Anta's "Weapons Form Excellence Award" winner for 2007. He was also in the short film "The Formula."

Bio: Andres was the 2007 "Form Excellence Award" winner at Anta's Kung Fu. He was promoted to JR Black Belt on December 8, 2007. He has come out in numerous TV show, newspapers, magazine articles. He comes from a Black Belt family. His 2 sister are also Jr. Black Belts.

Bio: Tally was the Most Improved Kung Fu student 2007. She's also been on numerous TV shows including Univision's Despierta America and on CV Network. She's been awarded Excellence in P.E., Music and General Scholorship.

Bio: Andres is in the gifted program in school as well as Principal Honor Roll. He plays the guitar since the age of 6. He's been playing soccer for Miami Springs/Virginia Gardens Optimist since the age of 5. He's won best forms at Anta's Kung Fu in 2005 and 2007. 1st in forms and 2nd in weapons in 2006 Black Belts for Christ Tournament. He has come out in numerous newspapers and TV shows as part of Anta's Kung Fu Demo Team.

Bio: Danny's hobbies are reading skateboarding, In-Line Skating, Soccer, Baseball, Cello and theatre. He started his martial arts training in the Little Ninjas pre-school martial arts and received the highest rank. 2007 Pan American Open Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi and No-Gi divisions he won first and second place. He has been featured as part of the demo team on Univision's Despierta America, CV Network and on Ch 10 ABC News. He's been in the Miami Herald newspaper and in the short film The Formula.

Bio: Isabel has numerous hobbies: Basketball, Baseball, handcrafting, music,playing instruments (clarinet, cuatro, recorder, guitar and drums), drawing, singing, reading and science. She has been featured in numerous newspapers, magazines and TV shows as part of Anta's Demo Team. She is an excellent honor role student. Isabel has won numerous inner school tournamnts.

Bio: Erik has won numerous inner school tournaments. He's was featured in Univision's Despierta America and is an honor role student.

Bio: Alicia has won numerous inner school tournaments. She was the student of the year in 2006 and is an honor role student. she has appeared on numerous TV shows.
